We still need an enthusiastic volunteer with planning experience to help us to formulate responses to planning applications.  If you would like to assist in any way please contact the Chairman ( 0118 9598350) or on the day. 
 
After the formal business we shall have 2 films:

  1. Day to Day operation of Sutton Seeds ( Black and White 1932 25 minutes)
  2. Reading Trolley Buses ( Colour 1967 10 Mins)
     

Access to RISC through the Global Café, up the stairs. Some parking available: go down East Street, take the very last opening on the left, up the concrete ramp and park by the back door of RISC. Other private areas nearby are liable to clamping.

Finances

The updated financial position, as provided by us to the Charity Commission, is held on the Charities Website

Membership

We now have over 260 members. New Membership leaflets are being experimented with (only limited circulation in the Library and University has been attempted). We have agreed with Friends of Reading Museum to circulate each others’ leaflets.

Subscriptions

These have not increased since 1994. It was agreed that they should increase, with effect from January 2005, to £10 joint and £7 for singles
